Health, safety and well-being at work

Every day, our commitments to health, safety, and well-being are reflected in concrete actions that are closely aligned with our teams and the realities on the ground.

At GROUPE ATLANTIC, health, safety, and well-being in the workplace are essential. They guide our “High Well-being” commitment. As such, we take action to prevent risks, protect our employees, and improve working conditions.

Steady progress over time

Every year, we track our health and safety metrics. This allows us to measure our progress. It also helps us guide our preventive measures.

In 2025, we recorded:

  • 182 people injured;
  • a workplace accident frequency rate of 8.51;
  • a severity index of 0.58;
  • No work-related deaths.

These results are part of a positive trend that has been ongoing for the past five years. They reflect the actions we have taken at our sites. However, they also remind us of the importance of continuing our efforts.

Occupational risk prevention: taking action on the ground

First, prevention begins with observing actual work. It is important to understand the movements, equipment, and movements involved. It is also important to take into account the specific constraints of each occupation.

At GROUPE ATLANTIC sites, this approach is put into practice through concrete actions. We analyze risks and near-misses. We also report hazardous situations. Next, we train our teams to respond appropriately and provide them with the right equipment.

Furthermore, ergonomics is an integral part of this approach. With the support of GROUPE ATLANTIC’s ergonomists, workstations are evolving. The goal is simple: to reduce physical strain, improve comfort, and better address the realities on the ground.

Safety Club, a network for moving forward together

For the past 10 years, the Safety Club has brought together health, safety, and environmental managers from GROUPE ATLANTIC’s industrial sites.

Its goal is to collectively improve safety. To that end, it draws on the experience of the sites. It also promotes the sharing of best practices.

This network makes it possible to identify priority issues. It also helps structure prevention efforts. As a result, best practices are shared across sites, while taking into account the realities of each line of work.

In practical terms, the Safety Club helps teams analyze risks more effectively. It also helps improve personal safety. Finally, it fosters good safety habits in everyday work.

Training to instill the right habits

Training is a key tool. It makes prevention more tangible and accessible to everyone.

In 2025, 404 people completed the “Fundamentals of Safety” training course in an industrial setting. At the same time, we created a new module: “Safety for All at GROUPE ATLANTIC.”

In particular, this module allows you to:

  • better identify high-risk situations;
  • adopt the right behaviors;
  • follow traffic safety practices;
  • maintain a safe and healthy lifestyle.

In this way, safety becomes a shared habit. It applies to all occupations and all work environments.

Supporting well-being at work

Health, safety and well-being at work are also built through listening, work-life balance and quality of life in the workplace.

Across GROUPE ATLANTIC sites, this commitment takes several forms:

  • Welcoming break areas;
  • Well-being workshops;
  • Warm-up exercises in production areas;
  • Quality of Life and Working Conditions initiatives;
  • Ergonomics committees;
  • Health prevention campaigns.

We also regularly conduct employee surveys to better understand our teams’ expectations and develop tailored action plans.

Through this approach, we are pursuing a clear goal. We want to protect our employees’ health. We also want to enhance safety and promote the long-term well-being of our teams.

This dynamic illustrates our commitment to high well-being. It reflects our commitment to taking concrete action. Our goal is to create a work environment that is safer, more supportive, and more conducive to professional growth.
