Part of Groupe Atlantic, our company Atlantic Georgia manufactures  waterheaters. The company is active on the export markets in CIS and Europe. Atlantic Georgia employs currently 170 people in Kutaisi. All production processes in our factory are in-line with the international standards. We implement philosophy of lean manuracturing and 5S. The safety of our employees is the key point for us.

To support our development, we are looking for an Operations Manager.


Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will :

  • Lead the Production to reach objectives of product quality and customer satisfaction, develop processes to improve productivity and enhance performance.
  •  Lead the roll-out of industrial projects according to the 3 years plan : increase of production area, new production line, manufacturing of new products…
Main responsibilities
  • Lead production in the respect of SQDC
  • Increase the safety prevention mindset of the team and ensure company H&S policies and procedures are followed at all times
  • Ensure effectiveness of the maintenance function: monitor the equipment to ensure they are in a good working order, follow the costs and the curative-preventive-improvement ratio
  • Assist the Process Manager to improve the production processes and ensure their stability
  • Ensure that production supply chain (Approline Logistics) is well-organized, preparation processes are in line with the production planning, provision of the components is on time 

Education and experience
  • Engineer diploma (speciality in mechanics, electrotechnical or chemistry)
  • Proven experience in industry (high serial industry, automotive, home appliances, etc.) in an operational managing position;
  • Strong technical background and knowledge of production methods, continuous improvement tools and their practical implementation
  • Field orientation: motivation to spend time in workshop and work closely with operational teams
  • Strong aptitude for root cause analysis and troubleshooting operational issues
  • Fluent English
  • Experience in an international environment will be a plus
